My Ethos

More than two decades ago, and with the assistance of 300 young students, a lifeless school building in West Seattle was transformed into a coveted work of art. My mother, a self-taught artist, scoured DIY design shows and passed her love of color onto me. Since that first large undertaking, I have proceeded to work with individuals, art galleries, community groups and architectural teams to enhance the spaces we work and play. With a Master’s degree in Painting, awards ranging from a Puffin Foundation Grant to a featured spread in the award winning Cold Wax Medium and a public art commission from the city of Oakland, I love creating. I am often my own guinea pig, renovating rooms and walls the moment everyone leaves the house.

With an artist’s eye for detail, a painter’s understanding of color and a teacher’s ability to convey information, I am committed to helping you create the home you love. Just like vacation, your home can generate the same feelings of beauty and inspiration.

As a life-long purveyor of healthy living, I assess color’s impact on our emotional state. Years of getting pricked by acupuncture needles and an almost-daily meditation practice have taught me that my environment affects my ability to focus and relax. I specialize in making aesthetic choices that elevate our emotional state and align with the main intent of each room. Your home should be as unique and radiant as you are.
